While at this point in your life cycle, the combo is used mostly for defensive purposes, buying you time to escape, in the long run that same combo will be used as an offensive mechanic. Try not to bite off more than you can chew Even at max level of Garbage Disposal, you only get about 50 points of minerals per turtle.
Turtles, while relatively abundant, are stuck at level 1. The only way you can level that up is through minerals.įurthermore, your secondary evolutions such as Bone Teeth and Hearty could only be leveled up with minerals and they are both useful offensive and defensive evolutions, so level them up as early as possible. Getting it to max (level 5) grants you a 25% extra bonus nutrient modifier. Your early body evolution – Tiger Body – has a skill called Garbage Disposal, which gives you an additional nutrient percentage depending on the level.

Where are you going to get your minerals? Besides looking for nutrient crates (which really only give you 220 minerals) or completing quests, turtles are a valuable source of minerals, plus they don’t fight back unless you run into the New York ninja turtle variant. In the end, we end up doing the same four things we’ve already done: eating humans like there’s no tomorrow, fighting marine life, swimming at top speed, and destroying boats.Having a balanced diet is hard to come by these days with the bayou mostly polluted and every other water creature is either a catfish or an alligator. In addition to the new story and the mutations that give us more powers, increasing the attack possibilities with them, there is not much else in this DLC. If before it would have been quite good to have this function, now with the appearance of the helicopters it would have served us too much. Something that is unfortunately still needed is a system to fix our attack on a single enemy. Perhaps the most useful addition in terms of our arsenal is that we now have a laser, quite useful for attacking enemies from a distance, which was something that our shark was missing at times in his previous odyssey. Now 40 is the maximum level we can reach, remembering that in the base game it’s 30.Īmong the enemies, we have helicopters, land vehicles and even fish with atomic capabilities, each one generally representing a more complicated challenge than the opponents seen in the original adventure suppose, which is more than welcome.
The good news is that in our favor we have evolutions just out of the oven, including an additional organ slot that is activated at level 35. The story unfolds in a new area called Plover Island, introducing us to new marine life and rookie enemies with whom we will have to fight. When we thought that, after the credits screen, the difficulties had ended for our protagonist – a shark with all kinds of extraordinary abilities -, it turns out that he now faces a new mission: the search for the truth – hence the name of the DLC- behind a conspiracy in charge of a New World Order. This is a short review, our usual the good, mixed and the bad was difficult because of the nature of this game. Once that’s done, then yes, you can jump right into Truth Quest.
